| AKC Star Puppy 3/10/24 2 pm Sunday $150 6wks PUPPIES UNDER 20 WEEKS AKC Star Puppy! Puppy graduates and get a certificate and ribbon for completion! Star Puppy is the beginning format for earning the Canine Good Citizen later on. This class is for pups 10 to 20 weeks of age. 2 sets of shots required. This class works on social skills, basic obedience - sit, down, come, off, walk nicely, no jump, wait, watch and learn to respond while distracted. We also discuss, grooming, health and all things puppies. Come have fun! We will be in an indoor heated building, limit 5 pups during social precaution time. Class has been modified to protect pups. | Manners 1 06/11/24 Tues 630pm $150 6wks Manners 1 is for dogs over 5 months, with little or no previous training. We teach household manners, basic life skills and discuss adolescence issues and how to maneuver thru the pitfalls. Dogs need basic skills and must be friendly to people and dogs. No aggression is allowed in this class. Barking is not unusual during the first session, we will work with that. We will work on basic skills such as sit, down, off, wait, no pulling or jumping, heeling and stay, greeting people skills and others as time allows. Classes are small to allow for more 1 on 1 and distancing. No aggressive dogs allowed. |

| Nosework Beg/Int 3/10 Sun 12 pm $150 6wks Intro to Nosework. AKC We will start with teaching skills and odor in boxes and do games. As the dogs progress, we will move into to Interior, Containers, Buried and Exterior as weather allows. Indoor heated building Most of the classes we will be working one dog at a time. Be prepared to keep your dog in the car or crate part of the time as we rotate. Crates will be available, please bring mat and water dish. Lots of soft treats or great toy! Beginning odor supplies will be included. Dress appropriately. Because only 1 dog works at a time, we can allow for distancing by changing search perameters. |
